HSAS: Mock Trial & Moot Court Teams
The High School of American Studies fields highly competitive Moot Court & Mock Trial Teams that compete in the annual New York State Bar Association's Mock Trial Competition as well as Fordham University's Moot Court Program.
Partnered with the law firm of Morgan Lewis & Bockius our students have completed four seasons, advancing twice in the previous season's rounds.
Our Moot Court Team placed in the semi-finals in 2005 and 2006, as well as making the quarter-finals in 2007. This places HSAS in the top ranks of the nearly 100 schools that compete each year.
The Mock Trial and Moot Court teams prides themselves on their work ethic: the students work hard and compete even harder in the NYC High School competitions, all while having fun.
