Music and Fine Arts Education

Students are required to take courses in both studio art and music history. Art courses explore one, two, and three-dimensional design through project-based assignments. Students are also exposed to art history, with a special emphasis on contemporary American art. Music students study the history of American music and learn the basic elements of music theory. Both courses involve visits to galleries, museums, and performances both on the Lehman College campus and around the city.
